About
Dr. Elisa Xiao was born in Beijing and grew up in Vancouver. Dr. Xiao provided primary, pediatric, and specialty contact lenses care at the Illinois Eye Institute, co-managed refractive and cataract surgeries with ophthalmologists in Mishawaka. She has also managed ocular diseases at the Battle Creek VA medical center. While working at the Wenzhou Medical College in China, she gained valuable experiences in the area of myopia management and orthokeratology that have made her an excellent addition to our team. She has earned an International Academy Certification of Myopia Management in 2023. She is currently pursuing a fellowship with the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.
In her spare time, Dr. Xiao enjoys learning new languages and playing the piano.
